\nThis blade is ranked as Jo-saku among the works of Norifusa.<\/p>\n

Habaki: Single-layer silver-covered habaki.
\nBlade Length: 36.5 cm (14.37 in).
\nCurvature: 0.6 cm (0.24 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 1.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.20 cm (1.26 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.60 cm (0.24 in).
\nSword Weight: 370 g.
\nEra: Edo period, around the Kanbun era (1661-1673).
\nShape: A robust blade with wide mihaba, reminiscent of a naginata.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada producing an almost muji-like steel surface.
\nHamon: Nie-deki with large notare mixed with gunome-midare.
\nThe boshi returns in a small rounded form (komaru).<\/p>\n

Features: This blade bears the inscription Norifusa on the mune near the upper part of the tang.
\nBoth sides of the tang are additionally engraved with the kiritsuke-mei, \u793a\u5358\u25a1 \u8ab0\u77e5\u65ad\u81c2\u5200\u92d2\u4e0b.
\nThis is a highly unusual feature.
\nThe accompanying koshirae is also exceptionally well made.<\/p>\n

\nTsuba: Round iron tsuba decorated with brass inlay.
\nFuchikashira: Shakudo nanako ground carved with plant motifs and highlighted with gold iroe.
\nSaya (Scabbard): Dark brown wood-grain lacquered saya fitted with a kojiri.
\nMenuki: Horses carved on shakudo ground with partial gold iroe.
\nKozuka: Shakudo nanako ground with a high-relief design of a pine tree and cranes, highlighted with gold iroe.<\/p>\n
