\nThis blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Izumi no Kami Fujiwara Kunisada.<\/p>\n

Habaki: Single-layer silver-covered habaki.
\nBlade Length: 51.36 cm (20.22 in).
\nCurvature: 1.15 cm (0.45 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 1.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.05 cm (1.20 in).
\nWidth at Yokote: 2.03 cm (0.80 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.60 cm (0.24 in).
\nSword Weight: 500 g.
\nEra: Edo period, around the Kanbun era (1661-1673).
\nShape: A robust wakizashi with wide mihaba, substantial kasane, and an elongated kissaki.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada producing a clear and refined steel surface.
\nHamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare.
\nThe boshi returns deeply in a rounded form.<\/p>\n

Features: Izumi no Kami Fujiwara Kunisada is said to have studied under Horikawa Kunihiro and Echigo no Kami Kunitomo.
\nAround Genna 6 (1620), he moved to Osaka, and in the fifth month of Genna 9 (1623), he received the honorary title of Izumi no Kami.<\/p>\n

\nThe tsuba, fuchikashira, menuki, kozuka, and other fittings were created as a unified set with a consistent decorative theme, combining remarkable luxury with refined elegance.
\nThe harmony between the blade and its mountings makes this piece highly desirable not only for appreciation but also as an important addition to any serious collection.
