\nHamon: Expertly executed suguha with abundant small ashi.
\nThe boshi returns in a rounded form.<\/p>\n

Features: Tadayoshi was originally known as Hashimoto Shinzaemon no Jo Tadayoshi and lived in Takase Village, Hizen Province.
\nIn Keicho 1 (1596), he traveled to Kyoto and became a student of Umetada Myoju.
\nHe returned to Hizen in Keicho 3 (1598) and settled in the castle town of Saga.
\nIn Kan’ei 1 (1624), upon receiving the title Musashi Daijo, he changed his name to Tadahiro.
\nHe passed away on August 15, Kan’ei 9 (1632) at the age of 61.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: In the case of the first-generation Tadayoshi, the signature always ends with the character \u201cSaku\u201d (\u201cmade by\u201d).
\nIf the signature does not include \u201cSaku,\u201d the blade is attributable to Tosa no Kami Tadayoshi instead.
\nThis is an important point to note.<\/p>\n

Historical Background: The Keicho period (1596-1615) was a turbulent era spanning the final years of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the Battle of Sekigahara, and the establishment of the foundations of the Tokugawa Shogunate by Tokugawa Ieyasu.
\nMajor events included the two Japanese invasions of Korea, the Battle of Sekigahara, the founding of the Edo Shogunate, and the fall of the Toyotomi family following the Siege of Osaka.
\n1596 (Keicho 1): A series of major earthquakes, including the Keicho Fushimi Earthquake, occurred, and the era name was changed to Keicho.
