\nHabaki: Double-layer gold-covered Habaki.

\nShape: O-suriage Mumei, with ordinary width and thickness, a deep curvature, and a slightly elongated kissaki.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada mixed with mokume hada, with prominent utsuri appearing clearly.
\nShinogi-ji: Itame hada mixed with mokume hada.
\nHamon: Nie-deki style choji-midare with abundant ko-ashi, creating a splendid appearance.<\/p>\n

Features: The Yoshioka Ichimonji school emerged after the Fukuoka Ichimonji school in the late Kamakura period and was represented by smiths such as Sukemitsu, Sukeshige, Suketsugu, and Sukeyoshi, remaining active into the Nanbokucho period.
\nTheir workmanship resembles that of Fukuoka Ichimonji, and while some blades display large and flamboyant choji-midare patterns, many works feature smaller choji mixed with gunome-midare.
\nOther examples show choji and gunome mixed into a suguha-based pattern, while some calm works exhibit suguha with ashi.
\nThis blade does not display many large-scale midare patterns, instead showing choji mixed with gunome.
\nAlthough there is a ware flaw present, it is nevertheless considered a masterpiece of the Yoshioka Ichimonji school.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: Opinions may differ, but generally speaking, vigorously flamboyant midare works are attributed to Fukuoka Ichimonji, while somewhat gentler choji-midare works are regarded as Yoshioka Ichimonji.
\nRepresentative smiths of the Yoshioka Ichimonji school include Sukemitsu, Sukeyoshi, Suketsugu, and Sukehide.
\nThis blade retains nearly its original sword length and exhibits a deep curvature characteristic of Yoshioka Ichimonji workmanship.<\/p>\n
