Tachi\uff1aMade by Yusui Shin Sadayoshi in Mid-Autumn, 1979 (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ordering Number: AS25377.<\/p>\n<p>Tachi in Shirasaya (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token).<\/p>\n<p>Signature: Made by Yusui Shin Sadayoshi in Mid-Autumn, 1979<br \/>\n\u662d\u548c\u5df1\u672a\u5e74\u4ef2\u79cb\u6e67\u6c34\u5fc3\u8c9e\u5409\u4f5c\u4e4b<br \/>\nForged with the utmost heart and skill for Mr. Shintaro Matsuura.<br \/>\n\u70ba\u677e\u6d66\u771e\u592a\u90ce\u6c0f\u5fc3\u6280\u9650\u935b<\/p>\n<p>(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku).<br \/>\nThis sword is ranked as Jyojyo Saku (high-grade work) among the works of Yusui Shin Sadayoshi.<br \/>\nHabaki: Gold-plated single Habaki.<br \/>\nBlade Length: 76.0 cm (29.92 in).<br \/>\nCurvature: 2.4 cm (0.94 in).<br \/>\nMekugi Hole: 1.<br \/>\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.29 cm (1.30 in).<br \/>\nWidth at Yokote (Sakihaba): 2.45 cm (0.96 in).<br \/>\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.64 cm (0.25 in).<br \/>\nSword Weight: 855 g.<br \/>\nEra: Showa 54(1979).<br \/>\nShape: A sword with a wide mihaba and thick kasane.<br \/>\nBo-hi grooves are carved on both sides.<br \/>\nIt has deep curvature and an extended kissaki.<br \/>\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada, producing a fine-quality steel surface.<br \/>\nHamon: Nie-deki.<br \/>\nGunome-midare with active kinsuji and occasional sunagashi.<br \/>\nThe boshi is midare-komi.<\/p>\n<p>Features: Yusui Shin Sadayoshi was born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1908.<br \/>\nHis real name was Enomoto Sadakichi.<br \/>\nA disciple of Gassan Sadakatsu, he moved to Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in 1943 and forged swords using the spring water flowing from Mt.
