\nHamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare mixed with notare-ba, with a deep nioiguchi and visible utsuri.<\/p>\n

Features: This is a rare yari by Jirozaemon no Jo Katsumitsu, bearing a collaborative signature with \u201cShuuri no Suke,\u201d and dated to a lucky day in February of Kyoroku 3 (1530).
\nIt also bears a sayagaki by Kanzan Sensei, making this a highly reliable and excellent piece.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: Osafune Jirozaemon no Jo Katsumitsu was one of the representative master swordsmiths of the Osafune school in the late Muromachi period, highly regarded for both beauty and cutting ability.
\nThis work is a rare yari by the smith, displaying excellent forging and clear utsuri, resulting in a dignified and high-class piece.<\/p>\n
