\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.42 cm (0.17 in).

\nEra: Around the Koji era of the Muromachi period (1555-1558).
\nShape: A piece with slightly wide width and solid thickness, originally a shortened naginata.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with refined steel quality.
\nHamon: Rounded gunome midare. The boshi is midare-komi, pointed, and turns back at the tip.<\/p>\n

Features: This wakizashi was originally a nagamaki that was shortened. The hamon is well executed with active irregular patterns.<\/p>\n
