\nKanemitsu inherited the refined jigane of his father Kagemitsu from the late Kamakura period and established a style noted for its grand sugata and brilliant hamon.
\nHe is renowned as a representative smith of the Bizen Osafune school and Soden-Bizen works.
\nHis workmanship can be described as a fusion of traditional Bizen-den with the powerful influence of Soshu-den.<\/p>\n
