\nThe blade is polished in a sashikomi style, allowing the entire hamon to be clearly observed.
\nThe boshi is midare-komi.<\/p>\n

Features: Musashi Kuni Akitomi was an Rikugun Jumei Tosho swordsmith from Saitama Prefecture.
\nHis real name was Koyano Akitomi.
\nHe studied under Kurihara Akihide and continued forging swords throughout his career.<\/p>\n

Historical Background: As indicated by the inscription \u201cNew Spring, Showa 19 (1944),\u201d this sword was made when the war was approaching its final stage.
\nIt was a period when swordsmiths devoted themselves to producing the highest quality blades possible under difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n

This blade has been well polished and displays solid workmanship.
