He studied under Horikawa Kunihiro in Kyoto, and after Kunihiro\u2019s death, he worked in Osaka together with the first-generation Kunisada of the same school, greatly influencing Osaka swordsmithing. Based on his style, it is said that his effective teacher was Echigo no Kami Kunisato of the same lineage. Many of his works resemble those of the first-generation Kunisada with a ko-mokume hada.<\/p>\n
