He was a disciple of Ikeda Kazumitsu(Yasumitsu). In 1935, he joined the Nihont\u014d Tanrenkai and forged swords within the precincts of Yasukuni Shrine. In 1944, he was granted the swordsmith name \u201cYasutake\u201d by the Minister of the Army.<br \/>\nAfter the war, he continued his work as a swordsmith and achieved excellent results at many awards.
