\nIt is a refined jigane, showing the characteristic soft texture unique to the Naminohira school.
\nHamon: Nie-deki, suguha.
\nThe nioiguchi is deep.<\/p>\n

Features: The Naminohira school is a group of swordsmiths continuing from the Heian period, and this work is by the 61st generation Yukiyasu.
\nNaminohira Yasuyoshi was also known by the name Hashiguchi Jinsuke.
\nIt shows a soft hada with a deep nioiguchi, resulting in a healthy blade with a distinctive softness.<\/p>\n

Historical Background: In 1818, during the reign of Tokugawa Ienari, the 11th shogun of the Edo shogunate, the era name was changed from Bunka to Bunsei following the enthronement of Emperor Ninko.
\nThis period saw the maturation of Bunka-Bunsei culture, with active cultural and artistic activities among the common people.
\nGenerally, ura-mei inscriptions such as \u201cA date in August, 1818\u201d are rarely seen on Naminohira works; however, this sword bears such an inscription.
\nFor this reason, it can be considered a rare piece.<\/p>\n
