Features: Iyo Daijo Tachibana Katsukuni, also known as Matsudo Zensaburo, initially signed as Katsushige.
\nIn 1661 he received the title Iyo Daijo and changed his name to Katsukuni.
\nHe passed away on June 8, 1672.
\nHe consistently admired the 2nd generation Kanemoto and achieved workmanship close to that tradition in both jigane and hamon.
\nHe is especially known for his sanbonsugi hamon.
\nA highly regarded swordsmith ranked among the O Wazamono for its excellent cutting ability.<\/p>\n
