\nEra: Edo period, around Keio (1865\u20131868).
\nShape: Wide blade, suriage (shortened), with deep curvature and an extended kissaki, forming a well-balanced shape.
\nJigane: Ko-itame hada well forged with abundant ji-nie, producing a beautiful steel surface.
\nHamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare with well-defined ashi, containing sunagashi and kinsuji.
\nBoshi: Midare-komi, returning in a small maru, deeply tempered back.
\nYaki enters the shinogi-ji.<\/p>\n

Features: Although the curvature suggests an older appearance, the jigane is relatively fresh, and the sword was attributed to Araki Kiyoshige by the Sword Museum.
\nMinamoto Kiyoshige was a student of Kiyohito of the Kiyomaro school, also known as Araki Naoe, and served as a swordsmith for the Sunpu domain with the title Harima no Kami.
\nHe passed away on July 15, 1919.<\/p>\n
