Daisho : Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi.(NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ordering Number: AS24559.<\/p>\n<p>Daisho.<br \/>\nDai: Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token).<\/p>\n<p>Signature: Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi.<br \/>\n\u51fa\u7fbd\u5927\u63be\u85e4\u539f\u570b\u8def<\/p>\n<p>(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku).<br \/>\nThe workmanship of this sword is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi.<br \/>\nHabaki: Silver single habaki.<br \/>\nBlade Length: 2 shaku 3 sun 4 bu 5 rin.<br \/>\nCurvature: 5 bu.<br \/>\nMekugi Hole: 2.<br \/>\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.11 cm (1.22 in).<br \/>\nWidth at Yokote (Sakihaba): 2.03 cm (0.80 in).<br \/>\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.62 cm (0.24 in).<br \/>\nSword Weight: 795 g.<br \/>\nEra: Edo period, around the Kanbun era (1661\u20131673).<br \/>\nShape: This blade has been suriage with the machi moved up, but the entire signature remains and is therefore valuable.<br \/>\nIt has a wide mihaba, thick kasane, slightly deeper curvature than usual, and an extended kissaki, showing the Kan-ei style sugata.<br \/>\nJigane: Ko-itame hada with clearly visible grain, forming a refined jigane.<br \/>\nTobiyaki can also be observed.<\/p>\n<p>Hamon: Nie-deki with a double temper line and a deep nioiguchi.<br \/>\nWithin the hamon, sunagashi and kinsuji are actively working.<br \/>\nThe boshi returns in the Sanpin style.<\/p>\n<p>Features: A fine work by Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi, especially rich in kinsuji and sunagashi, giving the blade a strong and rustic character.<\/p>\n<p>Koshirae:<br \/>\nTsuba: Vertical oval shakudo polished ground tsuba carved with the twelve zodiac animals.
