Features:
\nIzumi no Kami Fujiwara Kunisada was a disciple of Horikawa Kunihiro and also studied under Echigo no Kami Kunitomo. Around Genna 6 (1620), he moved to Osaka, and in May of Genna 9 (1623) he received the title of Izumi no Kami. In his later years, his health declined, and many works were produced as substitute works by his son, Shinkai.
\nThis blade is a bright work with well-attached nie and shows excellent workmanship; it is considered to be a substitute work made by Shinkai.\u3000From the front, the hamon may be difficult to see clearly. However, if you hold the blade up to a light bulb, you will notice that the hamon is actually quite brilliant and lively. <\/p>\n
