\nShape: This is a long blade with wide mihaba and thick kasane.
\nIt has an excellent shape with an extended kissaki.
\nJigane: Ko-itame hada, tightly forged and forming a refined steel surface.
\nHamon: Ko-nie deki, suguha with small ashi, and the boshi is slightly constricted and returns in a ko-maru form.<\/p>\n

Features: Hihan T\u014dji Enju Kunihide was a swordsmith of Higo, the grandson of Enju Kunimura, and a disciple of Suishinshi Masahide.
\nHis style follows that of Suishinshi Masahide, characterized by suguha.
\nThe hamon is bright and clear, and the jigane is excellent.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: This is a superior work by Hihan T\u014dji Enju Kunihide, featuring suguha with well-formed small ashi.
\nThe polishing has been carefully executed, allowing the fine quality of the jigane to be clearly appreciated.
\n\u201cHihan T\u014dji\u201d refers to the domain that governed Miyazaki District and Naka District of Hyuga Province (present-day the central southern part of Miyazaki City and the entirety of Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture).
\nThe domain office was at Obi Castle, and the ruling family was the Ito clan, a Tozama daimyo.
\nIt gives the impression that he proudly identified himself as a swordsmith of Hizen.<\/p>\n
