\nShape:Slightly wide body with sufficient thickness, and an extended kissaki giving it a dignified appearance.
\nJigane:Formed in the traditional Hizen Jigane style, with beautiful ko-itame hada.
\nThe shinogiji displays a mix of mokume and small itame, resulting in a clear and refreshing surface.
\nHamon:Primarily suguha with a hint of notare; the boshi is midare-komi and ends in a double hamon.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: While the signature reads Hizen no Kuni Tadayoshi, we unfortunately cannot guarantee its authenticity.
\nPlease consider this piece based on its quality rather than its signature.
\nThe shinogiji is crafted in the same steel as the main body, and the polishing has been done very skillfully, indicating the sword was made with considerable care.
\nAlthough some Tadayoshi signatures were produced by alternate smiths (daisaku), making it difficult to declare this a forged signature outright, we believe it would not pass appraisal at the NBTHK.<\/p>\n
