Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
\nBlade length : 69.54 cm or 27.38 inches.
\nSori : 1.21 cm or 0.47 inches.
\nMekugi : 2
\nWidth at the hamachi : 3.01 cm or 1.18 inches.
\nWidth at the Kissaki : 1.99 cm or 0.78 inches.
\nKasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
\nEra : Edo period, Jyoou era (ca 1652-1655)
\nShape : Nearly 5cm Machiokuri, wide and thick, regular Sori, long Kissaki, early Edo period sword shaped.
\nJigane : Koitamehada well grained, Jinie attached, Utsuri apperant.
\nHamon : Choji Mirare with Niedeki, Ko Ashi and Yo working, Tohiyaki, Midarekomi Boshi with deep curverure.<\/p>\n

Special Feature : Sukehiro is one of the most important swordsmith among Osaka Shinto scene, there\u2019s 1st and 2nd generation Sukehiro and this sword is attributed to the 1st.
\nThe first so called Soboro Sukehiro was originally born at Harima and moved to Osaka later to work under Kawachi Kami Kunisuke 1st.
\nHis swords are well known for sharpness and designated as Saijo O-wazamano.<\/p>\n

Koshirae : Han Tachi Koshirae.
\nSaya : Unique sand-like Saya.
\nTsuba : Mokko shaped, Shakudo Tsuba.
\nMenuki : Shakudo, The fishing rod, the Japanese straw hat,the fishing bucket are engraved.<\/p>\n

From Aoi Art : The Choji hamon put Sukehiro the first generation on the Japanese sword map, his works look like Koto swords.
\nThis elegant sword could look like Yoshioka, Katayama Ichimonji.
\nThe signature is engraved very well also.
\nThis sword is nearly 70cm in length, it\u2019s quite rare and special because the 1st Sukehiro\u2019s works are relatively shorter usually.
\nPersonally I have a high opinion of the swordsmith and strongly recommend this marvelous Ichimonji-utsushi sword. <\/p>\n
