Two grooves are carved on both sides of the blade.<br \/>\nJigane:Fine ko-itame hada, very well forged.<br \/>\nHamon:Nie-deki with gunome-midare. The temper line rounds down at the end. The blade features bright and clear activity with kinsuji appearing in the ji.<\/p>\n<p>Features:\u3000Hyoshinshi Hideyo Nyudo initially studied under Ishido Unju Korekazu and later became a disciple of Suishinshi Masahide. His style strongly reflects the influence of his master Masahide.<\/p>\n<p>Koshirae:<br \/>\nTsuba: Mokko-shaped iron tsuba carved with figures and landscape, accented with gold inlay.<br \/>\nFuchikashira: Shakudo nanako ground, carved with floral designs, detailed with gold inlay.<br \/>\nSaya (Scabbard): Decorated with scattered aogai (mother-of-pearl) and inlaid cherry blossoms.<br \/>\nMenuki: Shakudo base with high-relief carving of a dragon.<br \/>\nKozuka: Shakudo nanako ground, carved with a human figure and gold inlay.<br \/>\nIncludes kogatana (small utility blade).<\/p>\n<p>Aoi Art\u2019s Comment:\u3000Hyoshinshi Hideyo Nyudo\u2019s work closely resembles that of Suishinshi Masahide, and this piece is an excellent example. The blade shows active kinsuji within the ha.
