\nHamon:A gunome-midare pattern with rounded gunome heads aligned evenly. The boshi is a midare-komi style.<\/p>\n

Features: Bishu Osafune Norimitsu was active during the Muromachi period.
\nThis blade retains a clearly legible signature and date on the tang, and was crafted with care, revealing that it was intended for one-handed use.
\nAlthough it has been shortened with machi-okuri, the blade remains healthy, and both the signature and date are completely intact.<\/p>\n

Koshirae:
\nTsuba: Owari-style round iron tsuba with openwork design.
\nFuchikashira: Shakudo nanako-ji engraved with autumn insects and grasses, decorated with gold iroe.
\nSaya (Scabbard): Glossy black lacquered saya.
\nMenuki: Shakudo with a turnip (kabu) motif, engraved and decorated with gold iroe.<\/p>\n

Historical Background: In February of 1513 (Eisho 10), Ashikaga Yoshitane reconciled with Ashikaga Yoshiharu.
