\nWe divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
\nThis work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka.
\nHabaki:Gold and Shakudo foiled double Habaki.
\nBlade length : 54.2 cm or 21.33 inches.
\nSori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
\nMekugi: 1
\nWidth at the hamachi : 3.25 cm or 1.27 inches.
\nWide at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
\nKasane : 0.79 cm or 0.31 inches.
\nEra :Early Edo period.about Kanbun era(about 1661),
\nShape : Wide and thick Katana. On the Sashi-omote, dragon and Goddess of Kannon (Deity of Mercy) and Bonji are engraved.
\nOn the Sashi-ura, lotus blossom and Tsume are engraved.
\nThese engraving is very nice.
\nJitetsu : Rather rough Itame hada with Jinie and Chikei attach.
\nHamon : Around Hamachi is Suguha. And change to Gunome midare.
\nNioikuchi is deep. There are much Ashi and Sunagashi and Kinsuji in Ha.
\nBoshi is Midarekomi style.
\nHabaki: Gold and Shakudo double Habaki.<\/p>\n

Special feature : Owari province and Mino province were bordering.
\nTherefore many swordsmith in Mino province moved to Owari province.
\nThey were called Owari-zeki.
\nEspecially Sagami no kami Masatsune, and Hida no kami Ujifusa,
\nand Hoki no kami Nobutaka are famous sword smith in Owari-zeki.<\/p>\n

Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka continued 10 generations from Keicho era to Keio era.
\nBut this blade was made by Nobutaka in Kanbun era.
\nEngraving on blade is fantastic, and blade is nice condition without flaw.<\/p>\n
