Features:\u3000The first-generation \u014cmi no Kami Hisamichi was a student of the second-generation Iga no Kami Kinmichi and is known as a representative smith of the Mishina school, a prominent group of Kyoto shint\u014d swordsmiths. This work has a date inscription of Kan’en 1 (1748). This piece shows a bright and well-executed workmanship, with both the jihada and hamon richly covered in nie.<\/p>\n
