\nBlade Length: 49.4 cm (19.45 in).
\nCurvature: 0.9 cm (0.35 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 1.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 2.85 cm (1.12 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.95 cm (0.37 in).
\nSword Weight: 415 grams.
\nEra: Edo period, around the Kanbun era (circa 1661\u20131673).
\nShape: A wakizashi with a solid width and thickness and a slightly shallow curvature.
\nJigane: Fine ko-itame hada, well forged, with the grain clearly visible.
\nHamon: From the hamachi a suguha, then changing into a rounded gunome-midare with variations in height; the boshi is round with a deep kaeri.<\/p>\n

Features: Bitchu no Kami Tachibana Yasuhiro was the second son of Tameyasu, originally from Kishu.
\nHe also lived in Osaka and was the head of the Osaka Ishido school.
\nHe was a versatile swordsmith who made works in the Ichimonji style and also forged blades with gunome-midare hamon.<\/p>\n

\nFuchikashira: Shakudo nanako ground with dragons carved in high relief and decorated with gold coloring.

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: Bitchu no Kami Tachibana Yasuhiro produced works with active midare and also followed the Bizen tradition.
