We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
\nThis work is ranked as Jyo Saku, a high-quality grade among mumei swords attributed to Aizu Kanetomo.<\/p>\n

Shape: slightly thin and long blade with curvature and little short kissaki.
\nJigane: Itame-hada with intense grain patterns. Itame mixed with Masame on the Shinogi-ji.
\nHamon:Notare and Gunome with small midare with faint sunagashi. <\/p>\n

Features:\u3000Aizu Kanetomo is said to have worked in Aizu for eight generations from the mid-Edo period through the end of the Edo period.
\nPersonally, judging from the overall shape and the jigane, this blade gives the impression of a Muromachi-period sword.<\/p>\n
