The kissaki is slightly extended. Some areas of the original ha (unsharpened section) remain, indicating that the blade is well-preserved.<br \/>\nJigane: Ko-nie deki with well-forged steel.<br \/>\nHamon: Nie deki with a well-formed gunome-midare pattern. This is a characteristic hamon style of Tairyusai Sokan.<\/p>\n<p>Features: Tairyusai Sokan&#8217;s works are known for having slightly compressed hamon with consistent heads, and additional utsuri appearing in the upper areas of the blade.<\/p>\n<p>Koshirae:<br \/>\nTsuba: Iron tsuba in octagonal shape, decorated with a dragon motif in silver.<br \/>\nFuchi: Iron base with floral designs.<br \/>\nKashira: Iron base with engraved pattern.<br \/>\nSaya (Scabbard): Bluish lacquered saya with spiral design.
