Era: The early Edo period, late 17th century
\nShape: broad and slightly thick blade with long and sharp Kissaki. Boshi is carved on the both sides.
\nJigane: clean jigane with fine Ji-nie.
\nHamon: Niedeki, Gunomemidare with rough Nie. Sunagashi and Kinsuji works in the hamon. <\/p>\n

Special Feature: Bungo Kami Masatomi was originally from Mino and later worked in Owari. He is known for producing blades with excellent cutting ability. A distinctive feature of his work is the lines on the tang (nakago) in opposite directions downward, resembling hawk feathers. <\/p>\n
