Bo-Hi is carved on both sides.<br \/>\nJigane: well forged koitamehada making it an exceptionally beautiful Hizen steel.<br \/>\nHamon: The temper line is a mix of Nioi and Nie with a Gunome Midare pattern resembling summer clouds. Boshi turns back deeply with deep nioikuchi. The hamon features Sunagashi and Kinsuji.<\/p>\n<p>Features: There were several generations of Kawachi Kami Fujiwara Masahi, and and the first and second generations in particular are particularly highly regarded. The 2nd-generation Masahiro was the son of the 1st generation. His first inscription was Masanaga, and  he changed it to Kawachi-Kami Masahiro in 1665 when the 1st generation died.
