jigane is bright and clear, with a surface of fine nie and intricate chikei, forming a beautiful hada.
The hamon is a gentle notare with deep and thick nie, featuring sunagashi, kinsuji, and yubashiri.
The boshi is deeply tempered, and the overall bright and clear hamon shows great activity.
Based on these features, the attribution to Go by Kanzan Sensei seems appropriate.
Blade length: 2 shaku 3 sun 9 bu (approx. 72.4 cm).
Truly rare and extremely precious.
Written in the fifth month of the year of the Monkey.
Inscribed by this sword is a well-known blade from the Date family.
While it is difficult to state definitively, it appears to be made almost entirely of solid gold.
Blade Length: 73.0 cm (28.74 hakikake.

Features: This piece is a well-known sword attributed to the famed Den Go Yoshihiro of Etchu Province and is a former heirloom of the Date family.
It has recently completed polish by master polisher and is now offered for sale.
The polish is of the highest quality, preserving the shinogiji in its original state to highlight the jigane of the Kamakura period.
Around the habaki area, a decorative polish has been applied to allow clear viewing of the distinctive Kamakura-period jigane.
If a bohi (groove) had been present, this feature might not have been as visible.
Originally a Date family heirloom, this sword has been regarded as a famous piece since ancient times.
It features inscriptions by both Kanzan Sensei and Tanobe Sensei.
Although the blade previously showed some cloudiness, it has now been polished to an excellent finish by polisher Saito Tsukasa.

Aoi Art’s Comment: This is a valuable and
