Although pronounced the same, the characters for \u201cJin go\u201d (\u751a\u4e94) and \u201cJin go\u201d (\u751a\u543e) differ; the latter appears primarily in works from the late third to the fifth generations, and occasionally in those of the eighth. The form \u751a\u4e94, meanwhile, served as the common appellation used by each generation.
