After his father\u2019s death, his works begin to appear from Kan\u2019ei 10 (1633), and in Kan\u2019ei 18 (1641), at the age of twenty-nine, he received the honorary title \u014cmi Daij\u014d. Throughout his life he never succeeded to the Tadayoshi signature, but continued to sign \u201cTadahiro.\u201d<br \/>\nHe worked for roughly sixty years until his death in Genroku 6 (1693) at the age of eighty, leaving behind a large number of swords in a wide variety of styles. His workmanship is renowned, and he is regarded as second only to his father Tadayoshi in skill.
