Features: The Bizen Osafune Sukesada group was a collective of swordsmiths active in the late Muromachi period.
\nDuring this time\u2014at the height of the Sengoku period\u2014there was a high demand for swords,
\nand many were produced in regions like Bizen and Mino. Sukesada operated a large workshop employing numerous craftsmen
\nand produced a great number of blades signed with the same name.
\nThis particular piece is considered one of the earlier works among
\nthe Sukesada blades and is believed to be a well-crafted example, made with care and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
