\nBoth jigane and hamon are healthy and this is a masterpiece among his works
\nAt first glance, it appears to be an excellent work by Nagasone Kotetsu<\/p>\n

We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
\nThis piece is ranked as Saijyo Saku (Highest Grade) among the works of Tajima no Kami H\u014dj\u014dji Sadakuni.
\nHabaki: Double gold-covered habaki
\nBlade Length: 55.5 cm (21.85 in)
\nCurvature: 1.2 cm (0.47 in)

\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.04 cm (1.20 in)

\nShape: Broad and thick blade with appropriate curvature.
\nExtended kissaki, resulting in an excellent overall shape.
\nJigane: Finely forged ko-itame hada, very dense and of excellent quality.
\nThe tight grain resembles that of Kotetsu.<\/p>\n

Hamon: Deeply set nioiguchi reminiscent of Inoue Shinkai\u2019s style.
\nSoft hamon appears beneath the hardened edge.
\nThe boshi shows a deep nioiguchi and a yakisage style.<\/p>\n

\nShinto: Jyo Saku: Musashi
\nTajima no Kami H\u014dj\u014dji Tachibana Sadakuni belonged to the H\u014dj\u014dji school, alongside smiths such as Masahiro, Masateru, and Kunimasa.
\nAmong them, Sadakuni is known as one of the most skilled, producing works rivaling Kotetsu and earning high regard.
\nThis blade is considered the finest work by Sadakuni.
\nIt bears a gold inlay cutting test inscription stating it cut through two torsos, performed by Yamano Kanjur\u014d Hisahide on April 25, 1668.<\/p>\n

Koshirae:
\nTsuba: Shakud\u014d base with a cloud dragon motif carved, rim decorated with gold rope pattern.
\nFuchikashira: Shakud\u014d nanako-ji with family crests.
\nSaya: Glossy black lacquered saya.
\nMenuki: Shakud\u014d with high-relief plant motifs, decorated with gold iroe.
\nKozuka: Shakud\u014d nanako-ji with ginkgo and pine needles, in high relief using gold and shakud\u014d nanako-ji.
\nIncludes kogatana (small knife).<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: This is an outstanding Juyo Token by Tajima no Kami H\u014dj\u014dji Sadakuni.
\nIt features a deeply set nioiguchi similar to Inoue Shinkai\u2019s style and a cutting test inscription, making it an exceptional work.
\nThe koshirae is also of high quality.
\nWe highly recommend this piece.<\/p>\n
