We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
\nThis work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku.<\/p>\n

Habaki: Double-layered gold-covered
\nBlade length : 68.79 cm (27.08 in)
\nSori: 1.1 cm (0.43 in)
\nMekugi: 2
\nWidth at the hamachi: 3.38 cm (1.33 in)
\nWide at the Kissaki: 2.18 cm (0.86 in)
\nKasane: 0.72 cm (0.28 in)
\nEra: the early Edo period, 1666<\/p>\n

Shape: wide,thick blade with small curveture, typical shape of Kanbun blade
\nJigane: Koitame hada with Jinie and faint Utsuri
\nHamon: Nioi-deki little blurring Ko-gunome and Choji with much Ashi and Yo. <\/p>\n

Special feature:
\nBush\u016b Ishid\u014d Hata Toren was a swordsmith from the Edo Ishid\u014d school and also signed as Morihisa.
\nThe hamon of this piece, with a fine pattern and slightly blurred, seems to emulate the style of old Ichimonji, the faint Utsuri on the Jigane also indicates that. This piece stands out as an exceptionally healthy and well-crafted work among Azumaren\u2019s works.\u3000This piece was featured as a kantei-to (appraisal sword) in Token Bijutsu No. 555, published in April, Heisei 15 (2003).<\/p>\n
