\nShape: The blade has a relatively wide body, thick kasane, with curvature and an extended kissaki.

\nHamon: A mainly straight hamon mixed with notare.

\nAt that time, military swords were essential for officers, so swordsmiths often received commissions.
\nMano Kuniyasu from Bishu (Aichi Prefecture) was selected for the Army Gunto Technical Encouragement Association.
