\nForged with small itame grain and shows a slightly angular style.
\nThe gunome-midare hamon is boldly executed and skillfully done.

Features:\u3000This is a work by the first-generation Echigo no Kami Kanesada.
\nFrom the hamachi, the blade shows a deeply nioiguchi gunome-midare, with sunagashi and kinsuji running between the valleys.
\nThe boshi turns down and returns in a round manner.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment:\u3000The first-generation Echigo no Kami Kanesada was also known as Yamada Heidayu, a student of Iga no Kami Kanemichi.
\nHis works typically have shallow sori and a ko-itame jigane, which are features of Kanbun Shinto.
\nThis resembles the style of Kotetsu and Kanesada.
\nHowever, this wakizashi has a more noticeable curvature and an extended kissaki, making it an excellent piece in terms of shape.<\/p>\n
