\nThe boshi is rounded and returns smoothly.<\/p>\n

Features: This blade is signed Katsumitsu and comes with a Hozon Kai certificate.
\nHowever, there are doubts about the authenticity of the signature.

Koshirae:
\nTsuba: Shakudo with fish motif, surrounded by silver inlay.
\nFuchikashira: Iron base with engraved patterns.
\nSaya: Lacquered with blue shell inlay design.
\nMenuki: Shakudo with shishi (lion) motif, decorated with gold and colored inlay.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment:There were many smiths with the name Katsumitsu from the Muromachi period into the Shinto period, and variations in mei are common.
\nHowever, this signature appears to differ from typical examples.
\nThat said, the blade comes with a complete koshirae and has substantial length, making it a recommendable piece.<\/p>\n
