\nHamon: Ko-nie deki, straight hamon with slightly deep nioiguchi, with nezu-ashi and ko-ashi appearing.<\/p>\n

Features: Monju, said to be another name for the Yamato Tegai school, was highly valued.
\nWhile the utsuri in the jigane gives an impression of antiquity, the short nakago indicates that it is a work from the Edo period.
\nIt is said that the Monju spear was quenched using famous water drawn from the “Yanagi no I” spring at a villa in Azabu Goraien, and that the result was so excellent it became known as the Monju spear and was highly prized.<\/p>\n
