Boshi is midarekomi and rounded. <\/p>\n<p>Features: Chounsai Tsunatoshi was a renowned smith of the late Edo period who studied under Suishinshi Masahide. In 1856, he passed on his name to his son Koretoshi(2nd gen Tsunatoshi) and himself adopted the name Ch\u014djusai \u9577\u5bff\u658e\u3000with Ch\u014dju meaning \u201clongevity.\u201d He passed away in 1863. Judging from the period, this blade is likely a joint work of the first and second generations.
