\nThis work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Mutsu no Kami Fujiwara Toshinaga.
\nHabaki: Plain copper single-piece.
\nBlade Length: 69.99 cm (27.55 in).
\nCurvature: 1.51 cm (0.59 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 1.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.00 cm (1.18 in).
\nWidth at Tip (Sakihaba): 2.05 cm (0.81 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.65 cm (0.26 in).
\nSword Weight: 715 g.
\nEra: Edo period, around Manji era, 1658.
\nShape: The blade has a slightly wide body, thick kasane, and deep curvature.
\nThe kissaki is extended.
\nJigane: A bo-hi is carved on the omote, and a futasuji-hi is carved on the ura.
\nHamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare with a soft, rounded outline.
\nAshi enter deeply, and the boshi turns back in a round shape.<\/p>\n

Features: Originally from Awa (Tokushima) province, later moved to Horikawa in Yamashiro and took the name Nimura Gisamemon.
\nHis first name was Hirotsugu, later becoming Mutsu no Kami Fujiwara Toshinaga.
\nEspecially noted for excellent jigane and a hamon of soft, rounded gunome in nioiguchi.
