\nThis piece is ranked as Jyo Saku (above average work) among the works attributed to Koyama Munetsugu (Mumei).

\nShape: A wide and thick blade with a robust appearance, featuring double grooves (futatsu-suji-hi) on both sides.
\nJigane: Ko-itame-hada, well-forged with visible grain.
\nHamon: Ko-nie based gunome-midare with active ashi. The boshi turns back roundly.<\/p>\n

Features:\u3000This wakizashi is attributed to Koyama Munetsugu.
\nHe was born in 1803 (Ky\u014dwa 3) in Shirakawa and was initially known as Munebei.
\nHe served the Shirakawa Matsudaira family and later moved to Edo, becoming a swordsmith for the Kuwana domain.
\nMany of his works remain today and are known for their high quality, with virtually no inferior pieces.
\nThis piece is a robust tanto with thick kasane and features double grooves (fus\u014dhi) on both sides. It is in excellent condition.<\/p>\n
