\nShape: A solid and thick tanto called Yoroi-doshi, used to pierce armor.
\nJigane: Ko-itame-hada is well-forged and shows a tight and well-slept grain.
\nHamon: Nie-deki with small irregular gunome pattern, running from the hamachi to the kissaki.<\/p>\n

Features: This piece was appraised as Shinshinto Jyumyo by the NBTHK (Japanese Sword Museum).<\/p>\n

\nTsuba: Mokko-shaped small tsuba
\nFuchikashira and Kojiri: Made of iron
\nSaya (Scabbard): Black ishime-ji style saya
\nMenuki: Shakudo base with high-relief carving of a turtle. Likely made with the intention of symbolizing long life.
\nUmanokubi (Horse needle): There is a signature, but it is unreadable.<\/p>\n
