We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
\nThis work is ranked as Jyo Saku among the works signed as (Kiri-tsuke Mei) Ichi no Dai Kanesada.
\nHabaki: Single-layered plain copper
\nBlade Length: 74.3 cm (29.25 in)
\nCurvature: 2.4 cm (0.94 in)
\nMekugi Hole: 2
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 3.01 cm (1.18 in)
\nWidth at Tip (Sakihaba): 2.07 cm (0.81 in)
\nThickness of Rim (Kasane): 0.62 cm (0.24 in)
\nSword Weight: 785 grams
\nEra: Muromachi period, around the Eisho era (1504\u20131521), created by one of several smiths active during that time.
\nShape: O-suriage mumei piece with a slightly wide body, deep curvature, and an extended kissaki.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with visible grain and some utsuri.
\nHamon: Well-forged itame mixed with gunome-midare, exhibiting pointed gunome, with sunagashi and kinsuji actively present in the blade.<\/p>\n

Features: The Kiri-tsuke mei is engraved above the mekugi-ana. Upon inquiry to the Sword Museum regarding the meaning of this mei, they acknowledged it as authentic, suggesting that in a broad interpretation, it could be inclusive of Izumi no Kami Kanesada.
\nThis is a fine sword with excellent craftsmanship, highly recommended.
\nWith a blade length of 74.3 cm, prominent curvature, and extended kissaki, it is an impressive piece with an excellent shape.
\nUnfortunately, the exact meaning of “Ichi no Dai Kanesada” remains unknown.<\/p>\n
