\nShape: The tang bears a gold-inlaid Hon’ami signature, and the omote side is inscribed with Rai Kunitoshi.
\nJigane: The ko-itame hada is well-forged, with a refined and beautifully structured grain extending into the shinogi-ji.
\nHamon: The blade is quite weighty, with slight curvature and a somewhat long boshi.<\/p>\n

Features: At first glance, it appears to be an older work, but the hamon is in the suguha style with active ko-ashi and visible utsuri. However, this utsuri seems to be artificially induced. The hamon also has a sense of hardness; while well-executed, it raises several questions. Therefore, it is considered a work from the Edo period. It is recommended for use as an iaito (practice sword for Iaido).<\/p>\n
