However, this utsuri seems to be artificially induced. The hamon also has a sense of hardness; while well-executed, it raises several questions. Therefore, it is considered a work from the Edo period. It is recommended for use as an iaito (practice sword for Iaido).

Aoi Art Estimation Paper: Whole Oshigata
*Please note: The price does not include shipping fees.

<img decoding="async" src="https://www.aoijapan.com/img/sword/2025/25151sayagaki.jpg" alt="" width=“40%" height=“40%" />
<img decoding="async" src="https://www.aoijapan.com/img/sword/2025/25151_p.jpg" alt="" width=“70%" height=“70%" /></a

Katana in Shirasaya Signature: (Gold-inlaid signature) Rai Kunitoshi (Not guaranteed) (Gold-inlaid signature) Hon’ami (Kao) (金粉銘)来国俊(無保証) (金粉銘)本阿(花押) We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
