\nThe 1st generation Tango no Kami Kanemichi was the son of the2nd generation Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi from Kyoto, and after receiving the title of Tango no Kami, he moved to Osaka.
\nWile the 1st generation Kanemichi produced Sudare-ba and gunome-choji hamon, the characteristic of Tanba school, the 2nd generation Kanemichi created a dynamic gunome-midare or Suguha with thick Nioikuchi reflecting the trends of Osaka Shinto.
\nIt is said that he was also active in Edo during the Genroku era (1688\u20131704).
