\nHamon: Nie-deki, starting as a straight temper line (suguha) near the base, transitioning into a choji-midare (clove-shaped pattern) that continues beautifully towards the tip, where it sharpens and turns back elegantly.<\/p>\n

Features:\u3000The second-generation Awataguchi Omi no Kami Tadatuna was the son of the first generation of the same name. This piece is slightly suriage (shortened), but the nakago remains intact. The hamon features a vibrant choji-midare pattern, indicating superb craftsmanship. Furthermore, the polish on this sword is well-executed, enhancing its already excellent appearance.<\/p>\n

\nTsuba: Slightly large, round iron tsuba, decorated with gold lines depicting cedar trees.
\nFuchikashira: Shakudo base with a design of Fudo Myoo (Acala) meditating in a bamboo grove.
\nFuchi: High-relief carvings of clouds, river flows, and bamboo groves with gold highlights.
\nSaya (Scabbard): Black roiro (lacquered) finish.
\nMenuki: Decorated with a carved dokko sword motif.<\/p>\n
