\nShape: A robust sasa-ho yari (bamboo-leaf shaped spear) with a large groove carved.
\nJigane: Itame mixed with mokume, clearly visible.
\nHamon: Nie-deki with pointed gunome-midare.
\nThis well-made work is accompanied by a Tokubetsu Hozon Token certificate.<\/p>\n

Features: Naoie inscribed his name as “Sessh\u016b-j\u016b Fujiwara Naoie z\u014d” and is said to be the son of Daid\u014d Naohide.
\nHe later changed his name to “Kii-j\u016b Naoshige”.
\nThis is a powerful and attractive sasa-ho yari (bamboo-leaf spear).
\nUnlike ordinary spears with sharp profiles, this rounded form resembles a bamboo leaf and is considered to have been made also for appreciation.
