\nEra: Muromachi period, around 1469
\nShape: This piece has a wide and thick shape, with deep curvature and an elegantly extended Kissaki.
\nJigane: Ko-itame-hada well-forged, approaching a plain surface appearance, with visible Utsuri.
\nHamon: Nie-based gunome-midare with small Ashi, Hotsure activities, and fine Kinsuji activities.
\nBoshi: Rounded return.<\/p>\n

Features: Norimitsu is said to have lived in the Kamakura or Nanbokucho period, but many of his remaining works date from around Eikyo (1429), with many highly valued works from around Kansho.
\nThis sword is believed to be the work of about the 6th generation Norimitsu.<\/p>\n

Koshirae: Han-tachi Koshirae

\nFuchikashira and Kojiri: Made of silver.<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment:\u3000This piece bears the signature “Norimitsu” in Kin Zogan, which is precious.
\nIt measures nearly 2 shaku 3 sun (approx. 69.7 cm), has a deep curvature, and exhibits a graceful shape.
\nThe blade pattern can be seen on the Nakago, suggesting that there was a Suriage (shortening).
\nIt is a highly recommended piece that we would like to introduce to everyone.<\/p>\n

Historical Background:\u3000During the Muromachi period, wars became more intense, and bows, naginatas, and spears became the main weapons.
\nLater, firearms were introduced.
\nParticularly, spears were actively used.<\/p>\n
