\nHabaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
\nBlade length : 72.3cm or 28.46 inches.
\nSori :1.4cm or 0.55 inches.
\nMekugi : 1
\nWidth at the hamachi : 3.14cm or 1.236 inches.
\nWidth at the Kissaki : 2.09 cm.
\nThe weight of the sword 830 grams.
\nEra : Edo period kansei era. 1796.
\nShape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable sori and long kissaki.
\nJigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach blackish jigane and chikei work
\nHamon :Nie deki with deep nioikuchi gunome midare and notare ba mixed
\nBo-shi is small round style and turns back sharply.<\/p>\n

Special feature: Satsuma province produced excellent swordsmiths under
\nthe patronage of the Shimazu family. Motohira, born as a son of
\nretaind swordsmith Oku Motonao in 1744 was a reprsentative

\nperiod. Motohira succeeded the headship of family in 1777 and was appointed

\n(No) Kami in 1789. His younger brothers Mototake and Motoyasu were also
\nexcellent
\nswordsmith and their collaboration still survives. Motohira passed away in 1826,
\naged
\n83.<\/p>\n

\nstrongly for the blade. The charm of Satsuma sword often appears,
\nand kissaki is also find special feature of Satuma blade.
\nKoshirae :Tsuba is made of Kenjyo syakudo Tsuba.and Menuki and
