\nJigane: Ko-itame hada, well-forged and of excellent quality.
\nHamon: Deeply nioiguchi gunome-midare pattern on both sides, with round return and long turn-back along the shinogi. On the reverse side, gunome-midare with pointed boshi that returns.<\/p>\n

Features: Fujiwara Ietada of Kaga Province was active around the Kan’ei era in the Edo period. He was known as Kichibei no J\u014d and belonged to the “Dharani” school.<\/p>\n

\nTsuka (Handle): Red lacquer with scattered ao-gai (blue shell inlay)
\nSaya (Scabbard): Ishimeji-style (stone-textured) lacquer finish<\/p>\n

\nThis is a small triangular spear with a gunome-midare hamon featuring a deeply nioiguchi. The ashi are well-defined, and the boshi is pointed, forming a heart-like gunome-midare that returns along the shinogi. This is a well-made piece that we highly recommend.<\/p>\n
